Plan around people and work, not the cabin size first

Suruhanjaya Tenaga states that electrical installation work involves registered contractors and competent persons. The Electricity Regulations 1994 also address connection work for switchboards, switchgear and equipment under the control of competent persons. Cooling capacity should not be selected by horsepower alone. Consider occupancy, heat from computers and printing equipment, solar exposure at windows and walls, insulation, door-opening frequency, meeting peaks and condensate discharge. A supplier may propose a preliminary arrangement, but the final capacity should follow the actual loads and equipment data.
Should the toilet and pantry be built into the cabin?
Not necessarily. The decision depends on existing site facilities, occupancy, duration, cleaning arrangements, water availability and drainage.
An internal toilet can reduce walking distance, but it introduces water supply, discharge, wastewater, ventilation, waterproofing, cleaning and maintenance requirements. The Occupational Safety and Health (Construction Work) (Design and Management) Regulations 2024 apply to workplaces where projects are carried out, and the Second Schedule identifies basic welfare facilities for construction sites, including suitable and sufficient sanitary and washing facilities. Why must the delivery route and lifting operation be checked early?
Manufacturing completion does not prove that the cabin can reach its final position. A narrow gate, tight turn, height restriction, soft ground, inadequate outrigger space or excessive lifting radius can invalidate the planned vehicle or crane.

- Photographs or video of the entrance, road and turns;
- Gate width, height and other restrictions;

Which hidden costs are most often missed?
